The Washington Commanders released kicker Brandon McManus on Sunday, just over a week after he was accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit.
The Denver Broncos also parted ways with McManus on Tuesday.
McManus was a member of the Broncos' 2015 Super Bowl championship team.
The allegations against McManus are serious and disturbing. We hope that the authorities will investigate these allegations thoroughly and that justice will be served.
