The fifth Avengers movie is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026

Doomsday is the fifth Avengers film -- formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The Russo Brothers-directed sequel stars Robert Downey Jr. The film has been retitled with a full-tilt pivot. The next Avengers films will be Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Just when the audience thought the showcase was over, Feige announced he had another update

Anthony and Joe Russo, the team behind four of the Avengers films, will return to direct Doomsday. The film will be released on May 1, 2026. A further installment, titled Secret Wars, is due to be released a year later.
